This hospital and project would not be possible without the missionaries on the ground.
Dr. Scott Gardner and his wife Bekki Gardner, RN, were asked by Adventist Health International to work at the Waterloo Adventist Hospital in Sierra Leone.
The Gardner’s aren’t the only missionaries working in Sierra Leone, however. The hospital is staffed by indigenous Adventist health professionals who view themselves as missionaries to their local community. This isn’t simply a job for them—it’s a calling.
Waterloo Hospital has a vision of spreading high-quality, mission focused health care.
Our fundraising goals will further support them in their mission and provision of health and spiritual well-being to the people of Sierra Leone.
